Halloween

Sydney's pumpkin is the cat and Shelby's in the crazy face.

Well, I've finally did it, I downloaded our pictures from Halloween. Sydney was Sleeping Beauty and Shelby was a clown. I had the day off so we made sugar cookies and took them trick or treating withus and gave them out.

Fall Pictures

We went to Kiddie Kandids on Saturday and got Shelby's 18 months pictures taken. I can't go get Shelby's taken with out Sydney having to have hers done to. So here are the best ones. Shelby didn't want to hold still to have her pics done. So we were lucky to get the ones we got.

Sydney 4 1/2

Shelby 18 months

I can't believe that Halloween is tomorrow. This year has gone by so fast. Only 4 more months until little boy blue comes, and we still can't agree on a name. The rest of this year is going to fly by because we have so much going on. Thanksgiving, then I head to Pheonix for a week for work. I'm taking mom with me so she can get away. I think it will be good for her. Then when we get back, I'm home for 4 days then Shaun and I head to Vegas for a week for him to team rope and to go to the NFR. The girls are so excited for us to go because they get to stay at Reagan's house for a few days and then go to Aunt Angie's. We asked Sydney if she wanted to go with us to Vegas and she said no, she wants to go to Reagan's. Everyone have a safe Halloween.

I'm a BIG GIRL Now!!

Shelby slept in a big bed last night for the first time! She slept through the whole night and when I went to get her this morning she was in the same place I left her last night. Hopefully she will sleep there tonight to. I had to lay buy her for about 15 min. until she fell asleep, but hey, if she will sleep in a big bed 15 mins of laying down with my baby is fine with me. It actually gets me to wind down to. She is also almost winged of the bottle. She only has one abut once every 3 to 4 nights. I only give her one when she asks for it at night. But she is getting more and more attached to that dang binky. Hopefully when the new baby comes she will give hers up, but I don't think it will happen and I am not ready to listen to her cry for nights and nights to break her of it. I did try to get her to throw it in the garbage the other day, but she won't.

Already getting boy stuff

Ok, so I went to Shopko yesterday to exchange one of Shelby's outfits and went to the clearance section. I ended up buy 2 summer outfits for the little guy (they were only $1.39 ea) and a 2T swimming suit for $1.99. I couldn't pass up the bargin. I am so bad, but this isn't my first, so I don't get a baby shower. I've got to buy when the price is right.

I told Shaun that in about 1 1/2 years we are going to have to sale the house and move to a bigger one or build on because 3 kids can not share that tiny room that the girls are in right now. So, if we decide to build on does anyone know of any good architects to go to for designs. I am not designing this myself, I've already gone through that and I don't want to do it again. I would rather tell somone what I want and let them come up with the ideas. I think we are leaning towards adding on for right now.

GIVE ME A B**O**Y!!

You got it, yesterday we went to have our 1/2 way ultrasound and we are having a boy. Sydney was right, she is 2 for 2. When the technician told us that it was a boy, Sydney turned to Shaun and said "See dad, I was right". She wants to name him Aiden, I am ok with it, but dad is like NO WAY. I think it would be fun to let her name him. I like Derek or Wesley (call him Wes) Shaun likes Colt (no way). So, I guess we'll see, but for sure his name is not going to be Colt. I gave in to the name Shelby, I'm not giving in this time. Plus, it is my turn to name the baby anyway.

I can't believe that I'm 1/2 way through it has gone by so fast. February is just around the corner.

Vegas! Here We Come!

Hopefully not eveything that happens in Vegas, won'ts stay in Vegas. We are hoping to bring a little money home with us when we go.

We weren't going to go to the NFR this year, but Shaun quilified to rope in the World Series Team Roping Championship down there, which is the last week of the NFR. I'm am just as excited to go watch Shaun rope as he is to actually rope. To win the roping, it pays out $90,000 a man. Even if he gets 20th place (which is the last place they pay out) he will win more than his money back. I'm so proud of Shaun, he has come a long way this year. This summer wasn't his best, ok he didnt' do good at all. Then Septembet hit and he was on a roll. Hopefully he will keep that roll going through December. He has a really good partner heeling for him, so I'm not too worried. I know they will do their best.

So, if you are going to be down in Vegas December 10-13, give us a call and we can get together or come out to the South Point Cassin/Hotel and watch Shaun rope. I could use some company!!

Where Were You?

Today is the 7th anniversary of 9/11. Do you remember where you were? I do. I had gotten up at my apt and was getting ready to go up to morning classes at USU. I was listening to the radio and it came on and reported about what had happend. I didn't know if it was a joke or what. I didn't have TV because I had the cable turned off because I was getting married next week and getting ready to move. So, I hurried up and got ready and when to school early and got on the computers to find out what exactly happened. That is when the 2nd plan hit the other tower.
I remember Shaun not wanting to go on our honeymoon because he didn't want to fly. I told him to bad we were going.

Shaun and I had a friend back there that was suppose to go to the Trade Towers that day. Well come to find out plans changed and for some reason they ended up going the day before. They were being watched over and protected thats for sure. But do you ever wonder why some people were "lucky" and for some reason didn't get to work on time that day, but others weren't so "lucky"; that just goes to show that there is a plan for us that we don't know about and anything can happen at any time.

If remember what you were doing that day when you found out, write it down.
have a great day and keep those families that weren't so lucky in your thoughts and prayers.

Shelby & Sydney

Syndey's first day of Pre-school. She ended up being on the bus for almost 2 hours and on the way home and fell asleep. She didn't get off the bus until almost 5 pm. Hopefully by this week they will have all the bus routes figured out and she won't be on there that long. She is a mainstreamer at the Early Learning Center in Corrine. They send home a folder every night that says what they did and anything exciting or funny they did. Then we write down one thing that they did today . I really like it because it will be great to look back on and read when Sydney gets older.

Shelby loves to play in the cupboards. This day she decided that she would get in them and hide and start play peek a boo with mom and Sydney.

Playing in the mud

Shelby loves to play in the dirt. Whenever we are outside pulling weeds or watering flowers she is right there playing in it. This is the worst she ever got, I just had to take a picture. she was having so much fun.

Here are the girls in their Big Sister T-shirts announcing the arrival of baby wilkinson. Sydney kisses my tummy everynight when she is saying goodnight to everyone and says goodnight little brother, I love you. I sure hope it is a boy, because if it isn't she isn't going to like being called a boy.
Shelby points to my belly and says Baby, then she points to her's and says baby. it is funny.

Big Surpise

We are expecting again! I'm due February 22, 2009. I went to the doctor yesterday for my 1st check up and everything looked good. The baby was moving all over the place. Neither one of the girls ever did that at 12 weeks.

We are deciding if we should find out or not. Since this one is probably our last one I kind of want to, just to know what it is like knowing all that time. And especially if it is a boy I need to do some major preparing. Shaun and I have a very hard time agreeing on names so if we now what it is we only need to fight about one or the other not boy and girl names.

Sydney says it is definately a boy. She was right about Shelby so we will see.

Between the fields where the flag is planted, there are 9+ miles of flower fields that go all the way to the ocean. The flowers are grown by seed companies. It's a beautiful place, close to Vandenberg AFB. Check out the dimensions of the flag.
The 2002 Floral Flag is 740 feet long and 390 feet wide and maintains the proper Flag dimensions, as described in Executive Order #10834. This Flag is 6.65 acres and is the first Floral Flag to be planted with 5 pointed Stars, comprised of White Larkspur. Each Star is 24 feet in diameter; each Stripe is 30 feet wide. This Flag is estimated to contain more than 400,000 Larkspur plants, with 4-5 flower stems each, for a total of more than 2 million flowers.

Our Freedom's

Someone sent me this link awhile ago and I have kept it because I think it is so good. It reminds me of all the men and women who fought for my country to make it free and keep it free. Please click on it and read/listen to it.
http://home.comcast.net/~nw-fla/tribute_flag_B_thompson.htm

I am so thankful that I was raised with patriotism and I am trying my best to raise my daughters with patriotism. I am thankful for my grandpa Munns who fought in WWII. I love WWII history and the courageous stories I hear and read. I do not know if I could do what a lot of them did. I guess we all would if we were put in a situation.

I think of the story about a soilder who was a Prisoner or War (POW) and he has sewn an American Flag on the inside of his shirt. Everyday the soliders would say the Pledge of Allegence to that Flag. One day he the enemy found the Flag on the inside of his shirt and they riped it out and beat him. The next day he was in the corner sewing another Flag in his shirt with a swollen eye. This soldier that told the story said that is how they survived to the end, because of that mans patriotism and knowing what they were doing was right.

Please support our Flag, Country, Military, and President and not disrespect them. Have a great 4th of July!!

Shelby

The girls got this sprinkler for the summer and Sydney is too chicken to run through because she says the water is too cold. Shelby loves it and just walks up to it and plays in it.

She has another tooth coming in on the bottom next to her front tooth. She loves to play with the babies by holding them and bouncing them and telling them SSSHHH SSSHHH it is really cute to watch.

Sydney at the Queen Contest & Dance Review

Last Thursday night Sydney tried out for the Box Elder Co. Mini Miss Queen. The age group is 6 and under. This was her first year and she did really well. Everyone got a rose, a bag of goodies and a banner. Her banner said Miss Horsemanship. Well, riding her horse was what she scored lowest on. They just made up a lot of banners and past them out, but Sydney was excited and she wants to do it next year. We will work on her horsemanship better for next year. There was 30 girls in her age group
She just couldn't get Ruby to go exactly where she wanted her to and she couldn't keep her trotting. O well at least she had fun. We didn't get home until almost midnight that night.

Here personality, modeling, and test she scored really well on. We are very proud of her.

At the end of May Sydney had her dance review and did really well. After I asked her if she wanted to take dance next year and she said "Yes, and I want to do the dance review every day". She did her ballet dance to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and her tap to I've Lost My Dancing Shoes.

Our First Post

Well, this is it. I am offically a blogger. I don't know how much I will up date it but I will try to keep it up. The Wilkinson Wonders are very busy this summer with more projects than we have time, but isn't that how almost everyone is?
Our major project that I want to get done the most is finish the upstairs. But my first step is to clean all of our storage our from up there and put it in the trailer to store it. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have it all cleaned out so we can start ripping out the old panelling. I am so excited to finally get the upstairs done, but then we won't have any storage. So we will have to figure that one out later.
Shaun is now working at Nucor Building Systems in Brigham City, on swing shift from 2-10. It is good and bad. Good because he can be with the girls during the day so they only have to go to Gale's or Grandma's a few hours a day instead of all day. Roping has been slow because he has been having to work on Saturday's, but hopefully we will be going to Jackson Hole the next 2 weekends if he doesn't have to work.

I'm still working for the government out to Thiokol and selling Pampered Chef. I am in the Ladies Softball League Presidentcy this year so every Thursday night is full of softball. Very time consuming but fun. But I have volunteered my year so next year someone else can take my place. We planted a semi-garden this year. Shaun made me a couple of garden boxes and Sydney and I planted corn in one and tomatoes, cucumbers, and peas in the other. They have come up so and the tomatotes have some blossoms on them. So far so good.
Sydney started Swimming lessons yesterday and loves it. Thursday she is going to try out for the Box Elder Co. Fair Little Miss Rodeo Queen. Dad has been helping her ride ruby this last week so hopefully she will be able to ride her by herself and not have Grandpa Scott lead her. But the main thing is she will have fun and that is the most important part.
Shelby has so much engery she doesn't know what to do with it. She loves babies, doggies, and horsies. She doesn't want to be held unless she is tired or hurt. On father's day she put her hands on a truck toolbox and burnt them. We ended up taking her to the emergency because we couldn't calm her down. They said that is was like a severe sunburn. They blistered a little but now she is as good as new (well almost). She loves to give kisses and hugs.
