Christmas 2013

This year for the first in that I can remember, we didn't meet with all of my mom's family.  We spent it at my mom's with just us, Len,  and Kristy and Addie.  My mom gave the kids their annual Christmas PJs before we went home.  Christmas morning we woke up about 7:30 and did Christmas at our house, we then went up to Grandma Sue's for breakfast and presents.  After we went to Shaun's Grandma Betty's for the annual Wilkinson party and then finished out the day at Grandma Bev's and Grandpa Scott's for more presents, food,  fun, and relaxing.

Nutcracker

We did our Annual trip to the children's production of The Nutcracker in Logan this year on Thanksgiving weekend.  There was 30 of us that went this year.  It keeps getting bigger and bigger.  Afterwards we went to Chili's for dinner.  The kids loved it and even though Preston is always the only boy out of 30, it didn't bother him a bit.

Halloween

Halloween is probably my least favorite holiday so I don't get too much into it.  Sydney was an Egyptian, Shelby was a pumpkin, and Preston was Bumble Bee the Transformer.  For some reason I don't have a picture of him, I don't know what happened.  I took them to neighbors' houses then we went to Grandma Munns' and my aunts' house, after they wanted to go to the Dansie's to see their Halloween display and I let them do some trick or treating in their neighborhood since it was our ward.  That is the most they have ever gone, which was enough for me.

Shelby's Field Trip

Shelby's 1st grade class went to the Logan Pumpkin Walk for their field trip this year.  It was a beautiful crisp Fall day.  After they walked through we went to Providence to Ryan's Place Park for lunch and to let the kids play on the wonderful playground there.

Fall Pictures

Every Fall I take the kids somewhere and take their pictures.  This year we went up Green Canyon on our way to Shaun's Grandma's 80th birthday party in North Logan.  They turned out pretty good for me not being a professional and only having a little point and shoot camera.  Plus, for my kids being older you would think they would be pretty good at getting their picture taken, WRONG!  I think it was easier when they were smaller, between the pushing and not wanting to be by eachother and complaining that the sun was in their eyes, I got a few good ones.
