Shelby's 2nd birthday

I put Shelby down for her nap, but she refused to go down. So she came out of her room and decided to fall asleep on the tote with all the dolls in it.


Shelby on her new trike she got from her Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson. She still hasn't quite figured out how to peddle yet, but she keeps trying if she can get Sydney off it long enough to get on it.

Preston is 1 Month Old!

We'll we've survived a month, or should I say Preston has survived a month with his sisters. 3 kids is definately a change. He slept 6 hours last night, I guess that was his gift to me. Hopefully he keeps repeating it. I don't know how he does it but he manages to sleep during the day with his 2 sisters running around and yelling and screaming. He is a great baby, it is just trying to control the other 2 while I am feeding him or when he is sleeping and Sydney goes into the room and wakes him up.

Shelby has decided that she doesn't want to wear diapers anymore so we bought some Minnie Mouse Panties for her to wear but it only lasted a day. I guess we'll try in a few more weeks.

We went and got Sydney's 5 year & Preston's Newborn pictures done this weekend at Kiddie Kandids. Here are their pictures. We have to go again when Shelby's head is a better and get her 2 yr pictures taken.

Shelby's time at the ER

Well we got to use the new hospital on Wednesday at 1 am. Shelby woke up and either walked into the dresser or hit it as she was getting out of bed. I heard her crying, thinking no big deal she does that sometimes when she wakes in the middle of the night. When I opened her bedroom door she was standing there crying saying "I bonked my head". I picked her up and was consuling her when I looked down and there was blood on her face. After cleaning her up I took her into the ER (Shaun stayed home with the other kids) she came out with 4 stitches. She did really well for a 2 year old. They strapped her down on a papose board which made her cry the most. After they were done and unstrapped her she stopped crying sat up and said "Thank you" they gave her suckers and about 20 Dora bandaids. We get to go back in on Monday for them to remove the stitches.
