Preston's birthday and other pics
My baby is 1. I can't believe it, time has gone by so fast. Preston has been walking for about 1 1/2 months and says "Hi" and "Mom". He can tell you want the Indian and lizard says, and he can raise the roof. This all depends on if he is in the mood to perform. Alot different from the girls, they loved to show people. Preston has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom and will eat anything. No more babyfood for him.
I made him a pony cake and I thought it turned out pretty good. These cakes aren't as hard as I thought they would be, this was my 4th one. I have graduated on to making my own frosting now, instead of buying the tubs. So who knows whats next. Shelby's birthday is next month and she can't decided what kind of cake she wants. One day its a heart and the next a horse or a cow. I guess I better wait until a little closer to look for a pan.

Sydney and Preston's birthdays are 1 1/2 months apart but I am just getting around to posting. Sydney's birthday, January 2nd, fell on a charriot racing day so we went to the races and then came home and got ready to go to the Olive Garden for her birthday dinner. My daughter has great taste. I was really glad she didn't say McDonalds. Plus, I didn't have to clean house. It was still all a mess from Christmas.
Sydney was very nice and asked our servers to have a piece of cake. Luckily they were close to closing time and they weren't busy. Sydney picked out Red Velvet for her cake and loved it. Now everytime we go to the store she wants to buy a red velvet cake mix.
Sydney got reading books from us so she could practice her reading. She is doing very well but now she has to read EVERYTHING that has words on it.
