He's Finally Here!! and Home!!

Well our little one finally came. He arrived on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 3:30 pm. Labor was relatively easy, just waiting, it was 7 1/2 hours long. I'm not trilled about not being able to fill my legs with an epideral so I waited as long as I could to have one, I ended up only having it for 2 1/2 hours. I only had to push about 25 mins and he was here.

We named him PRESTON THAD WILKINSON. He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long. We don't have any pictures with his eyes open yet. He likes to sleep alot. So far I think he looks a lot like Shelby did when she was born.

We got to bring him home on Friday night. Here he is in his going home outfit and right before I dressed him. He slept through the whole checkout process. I thought for sure he would wake up a little when I was getting him dressed so I could get a picture with his eyes open, but no such luck.

Birthday, Dress Up, Snow Day, & Update

Well, no baby this weekend. We thought for sure he would come. He is just way to cozy in there. I go to the doctor tomorrow morning and hopefully he will start me tomorrow afternoon or early Wednesday morning. He decided to let me go a little longer, which I wasn't thrilled, but doctor usually knows best (at least in all my cases he has).

So, we have basically decided on a name and came up with one that we thought about at the first of our pregnancy when we were throwing out names, but never gave it a 2nd thought until recently. So we are keeping it a surprise until after he is born (just in case we change our minds). I'll post pictures when we get home from the hospital which I hope isn't too far away. I just seen on the weather report that a huge storm is suppose to hit sometime today and continue through until Wed night or Thursday morning. If it is THAT big, I sure hope they don't close the road to Logan because we will be SOL!! I guess we would have to go to McKay Dee in Ogden. Does anyone know of a good OB there, Just in case?

I decided to go out and shovel our sidewalk to see if it would put me in labor, well no luck. But the girls had a blast and Shelby bawled and bawled when it was time to come in. We went out like at 9 am so it was a little chilly. They were out there for a good 1/2 hour before I made them come in. I was getting cold standing out there and my coat wouldn't zip up because of my big belly. But hot chocolate made it better after I fought to get her snow clothes off.

Sydney's 5th birthday was clear back on Jan 2 and I'm just getting around to posting. She had her first birthday party. She had a couple of friends over and they just played and colored some wooden dolls they could take home. Having her b-day over the holiday's is hard, but she had fun even thought not very many girls could come.

I gave my 2nd attempt at making a b-day cake. The first attempt was last year on Shelby's birthday I made her a carebear cake. Sydney's turned out good to. It was fun and a lot more meaningful that I made it instead of just buying it from the store. Shelby's birthday is next month and I am going to make her a mickey mouse or minnie mouse cake if I can find a cake mold. If any of you have one that I could borrow I would be very greatful. Those things are hard to find sometimes. Sydney wanted a ballerina cake but I could not find one. I looked all over the internet and in all the stores, no luck

Baby Update

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday and I am 1 1/2 cm dialated and 90% effaced (sp?) so I'm getting closer. I am hoping to go into labor before my next appointment next Thursday, but only time will tell.

4 Weeks to go!!

Well, I'm down to weekly visits now. I go today and can't wait. I am hoping that my doctor will tell me he will start me a week early if I havn't had him by then. I just don't remember being soooo uncomfortable with my last 2 pregnancies. My stomach hurs, my back hurts (weather I'm standing or sitting or laying down). I just cannot get comfortable. I am ready to lay on my stomach and stretch out.

We still have not decided on a name. We keep thinking of new names and nothing is really sticking. Still really want Derek and Shaun is saying NO WAY!! but I'm saying NO WAY to Cash so I guess we are even. He really likes Dillon and I like it to and it sticks with me wanting to have all of our kids' names' be cities in Montana. But I really like Brady and Conner to and they are cities in MT to. I gues we will just have to wait and see what he looks like when he is born. Hopefully he will come a lot sooner than my due date.

My TV Shows

For those of you that are Grey's Anatomy fans, did you watch last night? I can't believe that Izzie is going to die. I was almost brought to tears (ok my eyes watered a lot) when she was so mean to Denny at the end because he was so sincere to her. But I guess if I found out I was going die I would be mad to. I can't wait 2 weeks to find out what happens.

Ok, next Show ER. I think Morse and the cop are going to hook up. Sma shouldn't be mad at Tony for moving on, my heck she is the one that broke it off with him.

AMERican IDol!!!!! Love it, I can't wait until next Wednesday when they show the SLC auditions. I am excited to see how they portray SLC. I don't have any favs so far, but the ones I really like are all girls. No boys have really stood out for me yet. Except one kind of did in Louisville, the guy in the blue t-shirt. Simon was trying to give him some constructive criticizm (sp?) and kara and Paula wouldn't let him. Paula is getting more and more on my nerves. I think they need to get rid of her. Rumor has it that Kara is taking Paula's place and Paula is going to be out of here at the end of the season. Well see!!

We do an American Idol poll here at work if anyone wants to join. It is $10 and there is a ton of different ways to win $$. Let me know if you want to get in on it. Some of the picks are: you pick the winner, pick top 2, pick a male or female to win, and also you pick who goes home every week. It is really fun. Everyone won some $$ last year. I was the big winner last year and won $29.

Christmas Dresses

I still haven't downloaded the Christmas pictures yet, but here are the girls in their matching Christmas dresses. I loved waking up to all the snow on Christmas this year. I don't like brown Christmas'. Even though we got stuck up to my mom's it was still a good Christmas.

The girls liked what they got. Shelby got her very own baby Anabell that she loves. Sydney loves her just as much. Sometimes we have to remind her that Anabell is Shelby's baby not her's but between the 2 of them she gets taken care of. Sydney's favorite toy is probably her polly pockets, but she can only play with then when Shelby is asleep or if she goes into her bedroom and shuts the door.

Sydney turned 5 on Jan 2 and she got to have her first birthday party. She had a couple of friends over and they just played and colored their own wooden dolls. She makes sure that everyone knows that she is 5 now, not 4.

Only 5 1/2 weeks left until baby boy Wilkinson is due. I am hoping he will come at least a week early, I am ready to have him. Next week I start going to the doctor every week, so we are getting close. We still have not agreed on a name yet. We'll just have to wait until he is born to see what he looks like.

Halloween

Well, I've finally did it, I downloaded our pictures from Halloween. Sydney was Sleeping Beauty and Shelby was a clown. I had the day off so we made sugar cookies and took them trick or treating withus and gave them out.
